They prefer gentle water currents and soft decorations to avoid injuring their delicate fins and wen.

Orandas prefer water temperatures between 65°F and 72°F (18°C to 22°C) and a pH range of 6.5 to 7.5. Stability in these parameters is vital for their health, as sudden changes can stress the fish and lead to disease.
