Altum Angelfish are stunning and delicate freshwater fish, known for their striking appearance and graceful movements. To keep these beautiful fish in the best condition, it’s essential to provide them with an environment that mimics their natural habitat.

Ensure their tank is spacious, ideally a minimum of 30 gallons (113 liters), to accommodate their size and swimming needs. The water should be kept at a temperature between 78-84°F (25-29°C), as they thrive in warmer conditions. Maintain a soft, acidic to neutral pH level of 6.0-7.5, and monitor the water quality closely. Regular water changes of 25-30% per week will help in keeping the environment clean and stable.

Provide a tank setup with plenty of vertical space and gentle filtration, as strong currents can stress these fish. Adding live plants and hiding spots will also make them feel more at home.
